We continue our deep dive into the Book of Romans and study this letter written by the Apostle Paul to the house churches in the city of Rome. We sing the song, "Change My Heart Oh God" but do we really mean those lyrics from the heart when we do? Paul had his own "change of heart" after his dramatic Damascus Road conversion. He was on his way to arrest and tp persecute more Christians. But after his miraculous conversion, he immediately had a change of heart and began to preach the Gospel instead. Our Creator absolutely prefers a soft and pliable heart over hard, inflexible religious ritual. Are we flexible and open to the leading of God's Holy Spirit from within us? Do we have soft and pliable hearts....for real?
